Job Title: Venue Monitor

Job Overview:

We are looking for a responsible and observant Venue Monitor to join our team at Venue 827. This role is essential in maintaining the safety and integrity of our events and venue. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

Event Supervision:

Monitor activities within the venue to ensure adherence to venue policies and procedures.

Oversee the event proceedings, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and according to plan.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by both staff and guests.

Respond to and manage any emergencies or disturbances within the venue.

Guest Interaction:

Provide assistance and information to guests as needed.

Address and resolve guest concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Venue Maintenance:

Conduct regular checks of the venue to identify any potential issues or hazards.

Report any maintenance or repair needs to the management team.

Record Keeping:

Maintain detailed records of events, incidents, and any breaches of venue policy.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with event coordinators, security, and other staff to ensure a cohesive team effort.

Requirements:

Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.

Basic understanding of event management and safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a similar role or in the hospitality/event industry.
